Q: How do I sign up for Northway Bank's Commercial Online Banking?
A: You can enroll in Commercial Online Banking by visiting any of our branches, who will work with the Corporate and Municipal Services Group to get you set up.

Q: How do I log in to Commercial Online Banking?
A: At the top of each page in the site, there is a login button for your convenience. Go to our secure login page

Q: What will Northway Bank's Commercial Online Banking do for me?
A: Commercial Online Banking offers you another convenient way to access your Northway Bank accounts. Once you have enrolled in Commercial Online Banking, you will be able to perform a variety of routine banking transactions online, including account inquiries, statement retrieval, transfers between accounts, and bill payments. You can also view images of your checks. In addition, you have the ability to initiate ACH transactions and create wire transfer requests.*

Q: What will I need to get started?
A: Any internet-enabled device, such as a personal computer, can interface with Northway Bank's Commercial Online Banking service. The security system also requires that you use a web browser capable of supporting 128-bit encryption.

Q: Will I incur any additional costs for online banking?
A: Northway Bank customers will receive routine online banking services at no additional cost. Commercial Online Banking is offered for your convenience by Northway Bank. Additional costs will apply if fee-based services are selected (i.e. wire transfers, ACH, etc.).

Q: What accounts will be available through Commercial Online Banking?
A: During enrollment, you may designate which accounts you wish to access online.

Q: Will I have 24-hour access to my accounts?
A: Yes. Commercial Online Banking will generally be available to you round-the-clock, every day of the year. However, there may be times when your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is experiencing down time, during which you will not have access to any internet services. Down time may also occur occasionally when we perform routine maintenance on our systems.

Q: How often is my account information updated?
A: Most of the information you will view when you use Commercial Online Banking is updated each day.

Q: I am concerned about my privacy when using the internet. Should I be?
A: Absolutely, and so are we. Northway Bank is very serious about this issue and has developed an extensive policy to help protect you and your privacy.

Q: What measures have been taken by Northway Bank to ensure the security of my Commercial Online Banking transactions?
A: In addition to our standard security measures (information encoding, a password lockout system, and automatic log-off), Northway Bank offers a number of additional security options. We'll work with you to implement security protocols such as tokens, IP restriction, and log-in time and place restrictions. These methods are all designed to protect and keep your online transactions secure.

We recommend changing your Commercial Online Banking password frequently for an additional level of security. Northway Bank will never ask you for sensitive personal information in an unsolicited request to your email address. Should you receive any such requests, do not respond.
