Positive Pay Services
Deter and detect check fraud with Northway Bank’s positive pay service. After each check run, you submit a file to Northway Bank containing data about the checks you’ve issued. As checks are presented for payment, we match them against your check file, paying only those you’ve authorized. If a check doesn’t appear in your file, we reject it and notify you so you can make a payment decision.
We also offer ACH Positive Pay Services and ACH Debit Filters which help to manage fraud on electronic ACH transactions posting to your account.
