What to Expect

Sometimes the loan process can feel overwhelming. Be sure to ask questions and know that your loan officer is here to help you. There is an orderly nature to things, and your loan officer will work with you every step of the way.

1. Complete our online application or meet with a loan officer
We will request information about the home and your finances and it takes about 20 minutes to complete. As soon as you've finished the application we'll review your request for approval. If this is an online application, a loan officer will contact you.

2. We'll provide a loan disclosure package
This package contains papers for you to sign, loan disclosures and a list of items we'll need to verify the information you provided about your finances during the application.

3. We will order a home appraisal
We'll order the appraisal from a licensed appraiser who is familiar with home values in your area.

4. All loan documents will be submitted to underwriting for approval
Once the loan decision is final and you are approved (subject to credit approval) you will get a commitment letter from your loan officer. This can be delivered electronically or through the mail.

5. Documents will be sent to the title company and your closing will be scheduled
The closing will take place at one of our office locations, your realtor's office or at the office of a title company in your area who will act as our agent. A few days before closing, your loan officer will contact you to walk through the final information.

That's all there is to it! Apply now and you will be on your way to getting the keys to your new home!
